I think this is caused when the snort can't find the "unicode.map" file, based on relative paths from where you have snort.conf . If you copy, move, or soft link the "unicode.map" file into /etc with snort.conf, or into the place where classification.config and/or all your *.rules files are, I think it'll work. -g On Wed, 24 Mar 2004, Shane Cooper wrote:
