Hi,

I'm using NetOptics -- www.netoptics.com and so far in almost 2 years
they never failed on me.
They are quite expensive (300$/each), but combined with port mirroring
on Cisco switches 3500 they work great.

Could anyone recommend a brand of taps to use, Are they expensive?. Also
in a heavily switched network with a limited number of taps where do you
deploy them outside of the obvious positions (link to FW, Mail Server)
