Re: problem with snort 2.01 and disabled rules

I had a couple of other disabled rules also run and alert and I took my backup copy of snort v 2.00, stopped snort 2.01 
and started snort 2.0.

Phantom alerts of disabled rules stopped.

Any ideas?

I am going to try to awk the rule sets and put in ## alert in place of # alert and see what happens, but due to the 
problems with false alarms on many rules, I would hope that this can be fixed in source.
