HI,
Let me add some more to this query.
The log analyser either in linux or windows must not take much memory.As 
a example,if the analyser depends on perl,means it requires perl 
libraries which consumes space.Basically, I want to have a log analyser 
to work in a device which may not have much memory to accomodate various 
libraries. Can any body figure out loganalyser worth to be a part in 
devices wrt to memory occupation.
