It gets worse:

if I compile as:

./configure --enable-flexresp

it fails with the "parse error before netmasks'"

However, if I configure as:

./configure --enable-flexresp2

it builds fine...

Sounds like flexresp2 does something different compared with flexresp...

As I wanted to give flexresp2 a try, this will do for me :-)
