RE: SnortCenter over writes variables

Leave all default Snortcenter config items (variables, rules, plugins, etc)
as is.  If you would like to customize them, create new items under the
"Resources" menu (copy the original item config and tweak it).  Then
deactivate the default items that you wanted to change and activate your new
custom items.  Your custom items won't get overwritten when you update from
the Net.

For some reason SnortCenter over writes variables that I've change when 
a perform an "Update From Internet".  For example, I modify $HOME_NET to 
be something other than "any", and when I perform the update, it finds 
out there is new variable called $HOME_NET and assigns it to "any".

Is there some config I can change to prevent this from happening?  Thanks.
