Procedure to upgrade snort 1.9.1 to 2.0 on linux 8.0

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has documentation how to upgrade snort 1.9.1
to 2.0. Any changes need to be done on any of the conf files or in any
other related applications like (mysql, php, acid ). 

Any sequence of steps need to be followed on performing the upgrade.

Any suggestions really appreciated.
