RE: Snort statistics - packet drops

Hi,

I have snort installed in a Solaris server and suddenly the snort stops
and the snort.log file does not say anything. Which is a good method to
test or debug the snort.

Regards

Subject: [Snort-users] Snort statistics - packet drops

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a way to see how many packets snort is
dropping when it is logging to a DB? I know it can be done when run as
snort -vi2, or similar as when you kill the process it shows you the
stats.

Sorry if this is a simple question.

Cheers

Zach
