snort 2.rc2 xml output

[ktimm () var-log com]

Is there a compile time option to enable xml output ? I get the following error 
with 2.0rc2 
Apr  3 09:50:19 dhcp-91-28 snort-2-0.rc2: FATAL ERROR: unknown output 
plugin: 'xml'

The config file uses 

output xml: alert, file=output.xml

Am I missing something or is this not available in 2.0 ?
