I'm by far a linux guru, but since there's been no responses yet, here's
what I use in my test lab:
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/admin/logrotate.html

cheers,

Subject: [Snort-users] Disk space on sensor

I have a few IDSs deployed on my network.
In the future, I plan to send all IDS alerts via syslog to a central
server, but for the time being, I am logging locally.

I have a question for those who are logging locally. What automated
methods are you utilizing to keep disk space in check?
