you only need to set ur mysql and acid agin
login mysql as root
mysql>grant insert,select,create,delete on snort.* to snort@1.1.1.1  identified by "urpassword" 

login linux and change the acid_conf.php
$alert_host     = "1.1.1.1";

so u can get the infomation from openbsd host

for enhanced the transmision u can use stunnel to encrypt the data
