ACID not working

Ok, I used the instructions at
http://www.superhac.com/docs/snort_enterprise.pdf to build my test IDS
system. I got it working just fine, but today I rebooted both machines
(sensor and database) and connected the hub to the network to access
internet. I configured DHCP on both machines and changed the ip addresses on
the snort settings.
So i deleted every alarm to make sure that ACID is getting traffic and
started my sensor but now ACID is not getting any traffic.
any ideas?
