Stefan, Yep, that worked. It allowed me to access the snortcenter and points me to the /var/www/html/snortcenter/sensor.php file. The snortcenter screen will only allow me to select the Sensor Console and Rules buttons. The Config Types and Admin buttons are inoperative. When I move the cursor over these two buttons I do not get a pull down menu. The documentation states that I need to create DB tables, pretty difficult to to when I can't pull down the Admin button. Any ideas ?? Thanks, JR

Hi, Change in the config.php file $User_authentication = 0; That will disable the authentication and then you can change the password.
