I am installing snort for the first time on a linux Red Hat machine.
I copied the file snortd to /etc/rc.d/init.d than i did exactly as the
manual:
cd /etc/rc.d/init.d
chmod 755 snortd
chkconfig --level 2345 snort on
now whan I issue the command /etc/rc.d/init.d/snortd start
I recive the error:
:bad interpreter:no such file or directory.
whan I look for It with ls -l I see the file
Can someone help please?
