Problem with postgresql and snort 1.9

Is there any progress on the problem with postgres?  I've seen some postings
in the archives but nothing with a resolution. Any suggestions are welcome. 
Permissions have been verified and seem fine just like in the other posts.

database: postgresql_error: ERROR:  ExecAppend: Fail to add null value in not
null attribute last_cid
