anyone using innodb on mysql with snort?

MySQL-3.23.34a or newer version supports innodb which looks like it can
add some transactional log features and somehow add performance to a
mysqld database

Is anyone using innodb with snort?
If so, what performance hits does it seem to take? just ram? hd space?
