Steve Scott has written a good paper on how to get ACID going with a
separate sensor machine running Snort. You can just duplicate this for each
sensor that you want. Nothing really changes on the ACID machine you just
need to point each sensor to your main database machine. This is the paper
that I used and it is very good and gives detailed instructions.
