Snort 1.8.7 RedHat

["D&D Jordan" <donj () dndjordan com>]

I upgraded to 1.8.7 on RH 7.2 and it is no longer posting alets to syslog.
Snort is logging to /var/log/snort so how can I fix the syslog problem?
