Hi, I am looking into building my first SNORT server on W2K and would like to use multiple NICs, email alerts, nice useful web interface for reports and snort running as a service. I have gone through various newsgroups, snort.org and silicondefence's web site on Snort for win32. What do people suggest as a recommended configuration? I get the impression MySQL and ACID are the most popular methods of configuration. This server would only by monitoring a 2Mb WAN service and a 10M DMZ hub so traffic volumes wont be that high. Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Steve --- This email and any files transmitted with it are solely intended for the use of the addressee(s) and may contain information that is confidential and privileged.
