Jason, I feel very, but you are missed, this stack of quarrel in its majority is formed by specialist in security, and believes that it is not a good ideia to give to a person welcome who can ruin its work. Not that it does not believe the good intentions of the staff who meets here, but really is not a good ideia. I figure I would get some skeptics, how does one prove ownership on the net anyhow? Pull out my Microsoft Passport <grin>? Unfortunately 166.82.95.103 is my host. I wasn't looking for a DOS, but a couple good scans..Aren't we the ethical ones on this list ? I found the easiest way to get god awful traffic is to connect to a cable modem. People like to scan 24.x.x.x address space all day long..other address space is random.. I wish I had a good way to test these things or than asking others to help.. -----Original Message----- From: Phil Wood [mailto:cpw () lanl gov] Sent: Thursday, March 07, 2002 8:36 PM To: Jason Aarons Cc: snort-users () lists sourceforge net Subject: Re: [Snort-users] Port scan request If you really want to get some god awful traffic, then I would have to have proof that the 166.82.95.103 address is really yours.
