I have configured a VPN connection to a Win2k VPN server. I know the account that I am using works under a Win98 VPN connection; however, it doesn't work correctly under Win2k. I am able to connect (if I ping the server, I get an IP address), but I can't see any other resources on the other side of the VPN. What's up?"

CISCO SHARES DIP ON ANALYST FORECAST | News: Reuters Shares in Cisco Systems fell 8% when a brokerage cut its earnings forecast for the company. Wachovia Securities said Cisco's revenue could fall as much as 5% this quarter, compared to the last quarter. SCRIPTING FLAW LEAVES SITES VULNERABLE | News: CNET Web servers running on the Linux or Solaris operating systems and running the open-source scripting language, PHP, are vulnerable to exploit by attackers. PHP has a handful of vulnerabilities and SANS said that at least one exploit is available, though the holes are not easy to break through. PHP is often installed on servers running Apache and the often-picked-upon Microsoft IIS, though this time, IIS users seem to be in the clear. The flaws, a collection of heap overflows and problematic boundary checks, could crash vulnerable servers or allow attackers full access to them. It was for a 30-year-old Louisiana man. He may have known that the flashing lights of his N64 gave him seizures, but he still spent some 48 hours each week behind the console! His final seizure threw him headfirst into a table -- a fatal blow. Now his mother is taking Nintendo to court. She's suing for "her son's lost future earnings," which may not have been much considering he spent what amounts to six workdays playing games. Nintendo denies any accountability in this case. The company puts seizure warnings on its boxes. (Source: vnunet)
