snort-1.8.3 compilation

I tried to compile 1.8.3 on Mandrake 8.1, but I always
gives type uint*_t definition conflict in
/usr/include/sys/types.h and /usr/include/stdint.h?
Does anyone have any idea how to configure to get away
this problem??
