Installing Snort on NT4: MSIEXEC not found

Hi

I downloaded the Snort183Win32.exe self extracting binary and tried to
install it. The installation failed right at the begining with the following
error message:

"Cannot find the file 'MSIEXEC' (or one of its components). Make sure the
path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are
available."

What is this 'MSIEXEC', why do I need it and where should it be?
