RE: No ip

There a "Listen on Interface" option:

< snort - ? >
-i <if> Listen on interface <if>

< example >
snort -i eth1 <other options>

Otherwise snort will default to your first interface. Which in your case
would most likely be eth0.

Subject: [Snort-users] No ip

I have a box with eth0 and eth1. I am using eth0 to talk with Apache/Demarc
and SSH on this box. The other interface (eth1) will be running without an
IP. How do I ensure snort only listens on this (eth1) interface?
