There a "Listen on Interface" option: < snort - ? > -i <if> Listen on interface <if> < example > snort -i eth1 <other options> Otherwise snort will default to your first interface. Which in your case would most likely be eth0. - Jeff -----Original Message----- From: Fontenot, Paul [mailto:Paul.Fontenot () bannerhealth com] Sent: Friday, February 15, 2002 12:05 PM To: 'snort-users () sourceforge net' Subject: [Snort-users] No ip I have a box with eth0 and eth1. I am using eth0 to talk with Apache/Demarc and SSH on this box. The other interface (eth1) will be running without an IP. How do I ensure snort only listens on this (eth1) interface? _______________________________________________ Snort-users mailing list Snort-users () lists sourceforge net Go to this URL to change user options or unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/snort-users Snort-users list archive: http://www.geocrawler.com/redir-sf.php3?list=snort-users _______________________________________________ Snort-users mailing list Snort-users () lists sourceforge net Go to this URL to change user options or unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/snort-users Snort-users list archive: http://www.geocrawler.com/redir-sf.php3?list=snort-users
