The simplest way I know is to use pass rules and add option -o on the command line, i.e.: pass tcp [src ip] -> any Take a look on the snort manual for more details. HTH, Sandro
I am running snort-1.8.3 on Redhat 7.2 with ACID. There are a few IP addresses whose traffic I want to ignore. How does one block all traffic emanating from a particular IP address in snort.
