Re: snmp traps with snort

The reason mrtg's cfgmaker script gets no response from the snort
machine is because there is nothing listening.  SNMP traps are a 1 way
communication from the agent (snort) to the management console.  mrtg
works with the other half of SNMP where the console polls the agent for
information.
