        You completely missed the point in your rush to demostrate your legendary
knowledge of firewall technology.  The poster of the original question
wanted to know about Windows firewalls, admitedly off-topic, but nonethless,
maybe a potentilaly related question.

        On respondent asked for clarification and mentioned Checkpoint, and I
replied with a host-based recommendation.  You followed with a rant about
firewall theory and how anything that doesn't do stateful inspection is not
a firewall.

        You should consider trying to be helpful to the members of this list, and
maybe also getting an email name that better describes your disposition.
How about something like firewall-god () yahoo com?
