WinpopUp and MySQL

Dear ,

  I am just install the snort but the problem is I unable to generate to WinPopUp using -M command. I would to seek 
help from anyone of you who would be able to help me about the problem. I would like to search the archives for the 
answer but honestly it is too big to search so i just have to use the short cut.
  One more question, MySQL databse that I use to logging suddenly unable to start. Everytime I start, it will be 
suddenly ended and this is the error message "mysql.hosts not exist".
