RE: Bash: Snort: command not found

Can anyone help me with why I would be getting this error after installing
and compiling Snort and libpcap?  I go to the directory where Snort resides,
type snort [options], get command not found on any command I run.  I tried
Snort 1.6 and 1.8, on Mandrake 7.1, fresh install.

Any Help would be appreciated.
