You are using the wrong rule set. Make sure you are using the ruleset
for Snort 1.7.

I have followed the site instructions for the setup for Snort on
Win2000. When entering the command...

I have the following error...

Error: Unknown config: classification
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
