Refining the rules

["Labelle, Michel" <MLabelle () golder com>]

I'm fairly new to snort/Acid, but from my limit experience the default rule
sets are pretty broad for general day-to-day monitoring.  Does anyone have
any recommendations on which rules should be turned down/off any why?
