Archiving preprocessor events in ACID

When I try to archive events generated by SPADE or the stream4 preprocessors, it says "Database ERROR:Column 
'sig_class_id' cannot be null". I am using ACID v0.9.6b16 and had the same results with earlier versions. Can anyone 
reccommend a way to archive these events?
