tcpdump && snort

Hi all,

I want to see the ip header and tcp/udp/icmp header in hexadecimal with
snort.

With tcpdump, the command is "tcpdump -x"

If I use snort as a sniffer ( snort -dv) i'm not be able to see any hex
of any headers, why ?

Is it possible to do this with snort ??

Am I missing somes options ?
