snortreport php error

Hello!

I just installed the lastest stable release of snort (v. 1.8.1), and the
snortreport offered up by Chris Adams.

I'm getting the following error:

Fatal Error: Call to undefined function: mysql_pconnect() in srconf.php on
line 25.

I have php (v 4.0.4) installed correctly (other php pages work).

I do not see a mysql module for php, and do see one for postgre sql.  I went
searching for a mysql module for php and can't seem to find one.

Anyone have any ideas?
