Snort 1.8.1 * RELEASE * Windows Binaries Available

All Windows Snort Users:

Thanks to Joe McAlerney of Silicon Defense, we now have a RELEASE of
Snort 1.8.1 for the Windows platform.

My documentation has been updated for those of you that have installed
Snort 1.7.1 using Snortsnarf or Acid to view your alert files.

The documentation tells how to either upgrade your 1.7.1 install or do a
new install of Snort 1.8.1 RELEASE for either Snortsnarf or Acid. 

If you are doing a new install, the documentation has all the latest
support software updates available for download right from the
documentation.

If you are upgrading from Snort 1.7.1 to Snort 1.8.1 RELEASE using
either Snortsnarf or Acid all the necessary files are available for
downloading right from the documentation.

Read all the information prior to installing.

Joe has compiled FIVE flavors of Snort 1.8.1 Final Release:

Snort 1.8.1 Binary 
Snort 1.8.1 MSSQL Binary 
Snort 1.8.1 Flexresp Binary 
Snort 1.8.1 MySQL Binary 
Snort 1.8.1 MySQL and Flexresp Binary
