CPU usage

I installed snort on a win2k box, and ran the program as a service.

Anyway, the program did fine, and used about 3 % of my CPU, which was cool.

After the program has been running for 4 days, it uses 99 % of my CPU, and it's stable on the 99 %.

Anyone ever tried this?
