Snort perf

Hi,

I'm currently trying Snort 1.7, I'm curious about the requirement of a
probe and the dropped packet ratio I could get. Has anyone ever tried to
stress Snort?

I was planning to use a P3 512M RAM running OpenBSD, what kind of
traffic can I handle with this configuration?
