Guardian no uses iptables I have rewritten it for iptables use. Here are the
rpms and a tarball. I am currently updating it a little more so it detects
all the network settings just need to specify the interface. It is done I
just haven't created the rpms for it yet.

Subject: [Snort-users] any program like guardian? (for iptables)

Hi, it's my first message to the list

I woul like to know if there's any program like Guardian, that instead of
ipchains, uses iptables ??

I know it would be really easy just change the code from ipchains to
iptables,
but, since I'm not a really good programmer, I don't want to try it if
there's
any already made program that does that task

Thanks, and I will enjoy the forum, I like a lot snort !

Max
