I would not go so far as to say never use C++.  It is 
probably the most powerful and expressive commercially 
successful programming language available today ...

... other than Ada, which has all the OO capability of C++, language
level support for multi-threaded programs and suffers from none of the
problems that exercise this discussion list so regularly.
