In a completely different (and more conventional) use of the word screensaver, I saw something that gave me pause last week. It was a sign that said in large black letters "DO NOT USE SCREENSAVER." It was at the airport, on the controls to the mobile jetway that drives up to the plane and lets us disembark. I shudder to think why they need this warning.
