ACCESSING PRIVATE WEB SITE MAY VIOLATE WIRETAP LAWS The 9th Circuit Court of Appeal has ruled that Hawaiian Airlines may have violated federal wiretap laws when it accessed a private Web site that criticized management. The court ruled that contents of secure sites constitute "electronic communications" in intermediate storage and are thus covered by the law.
