EPIC pursues public interest litigation, conducts public education, testifies in Congress, organizes conferences, coordinates grassroots advocacy, publishes books, reports, and an online newsletter. EPIC also maintains several well-regarded web sites. Description: Maintain and manage office computers, LAN, peripheral and other equipment; maintain several web sites and mailing lists; monitor newsgroups, electronic mailing lists and domestic and foreign news sites for stories of interest relating to privacy and free speech; manage EPIC Online Bookstore; assist EPIC staff on special projects as required. Qualifications: Strong interest in and commitment to civil liberties issues relating to the Internet, particularly free speech, privacy, open government and encryption; knowledgeable in LAN, web design, HTML, web development, mailservers, listservers, Mac OS, Linux, and MS Word; good writing and communications skills; well organized and reliable.
