The federal govt follows the NIST guidance which is designed to follow all guidelines/laws. The 800-53/a and 800-26 have specific requirements you can use (free even). http://csrc.nist.gov/publications/nistpubs/index.html On 1/5/07, MILES John M <John.Miles () co lane or us> wrote:
I wondering if anyone out there has guidance or suggestions on physical access policies as they pertain to telecom/wiring closets where routers & switches reside. Particularly as they pertain to law enforcement networks that contain data that falls under CJIS & HIPPA guidelines. Any templates, examples, suggestions, pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John
