Ric, Thanks for saying something. This doesn't seem to be the firest time karalon.com has offered their warez as the only solution. http://archives.neohapsis.com/archives/sf/ids/2005-q4/0124.html http://marc2.theaimsgroup.com/?l=tomahawk-devs&m=112480641111295&w=2 http://archives.neohapsis.com/archives/sf/ids/2005-q4/0134.html Its starting to get crazy how so many new vendors flood members of mailing lists with spam and what not. -Daniel -----Original Message----- From: listbounce () securityfocus com [mailto:listbounce () securityfocus com] On Behalf Of Ric Messier Sent: Thursday, September 14, 2006 9:57 AM To: pen-test () securityfocus com; 'Lisa Foster' Subject: RE: tools to scan source code Lisa Foster shamelessly promotes as follows:
You might also like to take a look at Traffic IQ Pro. This product provides the capability to replay similar/identical/more complete malicious traffic that can be used to configure network based defences
such as IDS/IPS and application level filters that are present in many
firewalls to defend at the network layer before it gets anywhere near the target host. For a short demonstration click on the link below: http://www.karalon.com/Presentations/TrafficIQPro.htm I hope this is useful. Lisa Foster karalon
What does this tool have to do with the question of source code scanning or even, at a stretch, Web vulnerability assessment? When did the pen-test mailing list become a vehicle for corporate marketing efforts? If you have a cool tool that people could benefit from, at least point it out in a thread that relates to the tool rather than barging in totally off-topic to do your promotion.
