I got around this a different way, by using a 2 factor attack against the host. I was MITM'ing a windows client host. I compromised it, and modded the IE libs (can't exactlty remember which ones but the info is on MSDN) so that IE accepted any cert. while it sounds like too much effort it was not hard to brake the host and do a lib swap. WAY easier than fuging with certs. As far as the user was concerned everything was fine. I could feed it a cert signed by micky mouse for all it cared, and make a proper SSL connection to the server while getting everything in clear text. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This List Sponsored by: CenzicConcerned about Web Application Security?
