There are many known attacks for Cisco equipment, running TACACS or not - try looking in security focus archives for CISCO attacks - that's often what I do if I get caught out somewhere without my own tools... Guys, I am working on a penetration test which includes some cisco equipment. On this particular one they have a system with UDP ports 49, 67, 123 open. Nmap recognizes the ports as being for TACACS, DHCP, and NTP. The security implications of the DHCP and NTP I understand already, but I don't have any experience with the TACACS portion. I haven't found any information on google about attacking TACACS directly. Anyone else out there run into this? Thanks, Mike --------------------------------------------------------------------------
