Has anyone ever used a product called IDS Informer made by Blade Software? I am currently looking at different methods/products that can test the functionality and response of production IDS sensors.
I used to use Blade all the time. They stay on top of the latest signatures pretty well but the best feature is its ability to import crafted .cap files into its signature database. One of the top IDS vendors (can't say the name) uses it... or at least used to. I'd recommend it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ethical Hacking at the InfoSec Institute. Mention this ad and get $545 off any course!
