Odysseus supports client side certs and runs under Windows.  Doubt it uses cryptoapi, since it utilises OpenSSL and 
Eric Young's work, but it might get you a little further on that you are.

thnx for the reply... but achilles doesn't support client side
certificates :( .... ZeBeDee... well didn't know about it... 
will google
it up and check it out.
and for the sake of mentioning, exodus and webscarab do not work:
a) do not support client certificates.
b) use java (not sure if sun's ssl api or some other librarby 
but surely
not cryptoapi)
