Anyone know how to change root password on an IP330? I was able to social engineer my way to Admin (thanks nokia support). I still need to get root password to reconfigure the box. I do not have access to the nokia website ;( but I do have physical access to the box.
Admin is essentailly root on the Nokias, but you might be able to ue dbset root newpassword "" then dbset :save ...from the command line. That'll null out the password, although on recent versions of IPSO we've seen the password revert back to the old admin password on reboot. I've tried this for admin passwords but haven't tried it for root yet, although it -should- work. --john -- John Adams . Sr. Security Engineer .
