Watchguard have a product called MSS, which is a centralised management product - and one of the tools it comes with is fbsh - allows you to get a shell onto a firebox. Clare
You would have your work cut out for you. Although they run a cut down linux operating system, I think it is pretty much butchered, and I would not be too surprised if there is no shell installed.
It really didnt look like it. I hooked up a laptop to the console port and tried to boot into single user mode but there was no such option that I was aware of.
